So I am slightly obsessed with teeth. I have always wanted that perfect smile and it all started when I finally got my braces back in school. Finally, I had the chance to have these perfect teeth and after a year and a half I was finally set free and in love with my teeth. After this.. the problem of keeping them white started. Although I brush my teeth twice a day, I still feel like they go yellow which I think is more to do with your diet and today teeth whitening has become a popular thing to do!
There has been a recent rave for teeth whitening, all the celebs are being paid to endorse these products and I am always a bit sceptical about these products because do the celebrities actually use this or is it just a money maker? My thoughts are usually on the latter.. anyway the teeth whitening I have seen is either Mr Blanc or the Oil pulling both coming in different varieties of lengths and flavours. However, the oil pulling to me seems really horrible, having to swish oil in your mouth for a half hour sounds no fun and potentially breathing difficulties.. plus a nasty oil taste in your mouth after.
So I thought I would go for Mr Blanc, this is because I liked the fact it uses strips that you can just stick on your teeth for 30 minutes and I still feel like I could carry on with things I needed to do in that time. Plus it states that all ingredients are safe to use and you can buy different packs. So I went for the two-week cycle in mint flavour. Personally, I thought £20 was a bit expensive.. plus postage and packaging on top of that but I suppose in comparison to teeth whitening in general, it is pretty cheap.
I was a little bit nervous on my first attempt but it was really simple. You get 14 packets in the box to cover the two weeks and the little package out and it is exactly the same as the box, front and back. Simply take the strip out and the upper and lower strips are stuck on this. All you do is take this off and stick it to your teeth, folding any excess strip under and behind your teeth. This will then have the gel on your teeth, set your timing for 30 minutes and off you go!

So I have completed the two-week trial now and I am not sure whether there is much difference, however, I have received a few compliments so maybe they are brighter and whiter as I have craved! These are definitely only a quick fix and not a permanent solution, which is where expensive dentist teeth whitening would have to come into play!
