I recently visited the beautiful restaurant City Social in Tower 42. Located in Central London, I had heard about this modern classic through some friends who had been and decided to give it a try for date night! - If you are looking for a classy traditional service with a modern, jazzy twist, this is the place for you - take a look at my snaps!
Walking into the tower (more like running because it was raining) we were greeted by the doorman and guided to the restaurants personal life. Arriving in the restaurants jazzy atmosphere we were happily greeted and guided to the perfect table looking over London. Once we had sat down (and the waiter gave my bag a chair.. yes that's right my bag had a chair!!) our order was taken and let me tell you, this restaurant is so delicious. Duck and salmon as our starters, steak for my main and a gorgeous chocolate tart was mouth watering, melt in the mouth fantastic. Being completely stuffed afterwards the waiter gave us some beautiful chocolates with gold leaf in them and we sat sipping cocktails and chatting the evening away.
If its money you are worried about, this place is not your Nandos round the corner but its price tag is pretty reasonable considering it is Michelin Star with top notch service to go with it and we ended up spending around £150 for the both of us, three courses plus drinks!
